An innovative perfume dispenser, inspired by the human heart, made by laser sintering technology. Created without any waste and made out of 1 part instead of the 11 parts needed for a conventional pump.

GROW DESIGN

Current manufacturing is archaic and wasteful– limited by tooling, machining,
reducing, and assembly. Unnecessary energy, money and resources is lost using
these antiquated processes.

With laser sintering we could stop such waste and grow complex shapes which
work and look much better. The technology is here and waiting to be utilised.

We invented perfume flacons with integrated spring pumps, which are inspired by
heart muscles, with their complex system of valves and chambers- a perfect design evolved over millions of years.

Our design has only one component, compared to the 11 components necessary to make today’s flacons (pump systems). There is no waste during the manufacturing process.

The finished product would come out of the machine ready to be used. No tooling
or assembly required.

Watch the animation to see how one valve opens while the other closes up.
This is not science fiction - we have working samples.

LET DESIGN GROW FREELY

We have developed logarithms to subtly alter the shape time after time, to create an unlimited number of designs.

The flacon you see to the left houses the perfume in the cavities in the outer spiral, the inner spiral creates the tension for the pump.
