Households have been dependent on centralized infrastructures for many decades through the need for electricity, freshwater, and telecommunications.

Floating architecture, like the Infinity 2, showcases our ambition to provide a self-sufficient space independent of all these needs. Solar-electricity provides light, heat, and power, as well as purifying the water used.

Infinity 2 has a floorsurface of over 500sqm and creates enough power to live freely on the water. Be it as a temporary home, hotel or exhibition space (see below) these structures truly have "zero footprint".
We are currently developing smaller units as floating eco villas to inhabit the most sensitive of environments.

Infinity 2 is prefabricated as 24 identical modules.

This study was created for an institute for environmental studies faculty to be moored at four different locations over the course of the year, facilitating both research and educational programmes.

The cost effective construction uses the same modular construction principle as the Serpentine Solarshuttle.
