GEBERIT
SIGMA PUSHPLATES

The Geberit Group is the European market leader in sanitary technology. It is leading the market with its commitment to minimise water and energy consumption using durable and innovative solutions.

A perfect match for Christoph Behling Design’s long time commitment to water preservation which started with the creation of our solarboats 15 years ago.

CBD has been designing the collections of Geberit’s mechanical flushplates since 2007 and is further pushing the limits of bathroom technology and toilet systems in future projects.

CHOOSE LESS

Toilets need to improve to fit in with 21st century realities. One of the biggest issues facing us today is excessive water consumption.

Our clear and understandable design for the pushplate of Sigma 50 can help the average household save more than 7000 litres of fresh water per year.
The user has the option to use the full amount of water or nearly 2.5 litres less if one pushes the small circle.

COLLECTIONS

Together with Geberit’s management, we have developed several collections. These give the architectural planner the ability to specify products where visual consistency can run through a building.

In parallel, we are refining a recognizable design language for all of Geberit’s products to communicate the outstanding values of their company.

1st CUSTOMIZABLE SYSTEM

The Sigma 50 collection allows the architect to customize the surface using stone, wood or glass to match specific environments.
This achieves the fine balance between a product which captures Geberit’s values and design, and one that is capable of being adaptable to the needs of the architect.

LESS IS MORE- SIGMA 60

The ingenius R&D team at Geberit manged to realise this minimal design which is completely level with the wall surface. Perfect precision and detailing = Swiss made.
