Apart from our commercial mandates we try to envision the future of products and manufacturing.
Rapid prototyping machines (3D printers)are industry standard for prototyping but have yet not been used for the production of final products.

Current manufacturing is archaic and wasteful – limited by tooling, machining, reducing, assembly. Lots of energy, money and resources get wasted for very simple tasks.
Nature creates products without waste far superior from what we can assemble and produce today.
Our pumps / perfume flacons are directly  inspired by heart muscles , they have valves and chambers a perfect design evolved over millions of years. The finished product has only one component, compared to the 11 components necessary to make today’s flacons (pump sytems). There is no waste during the manufacturing process.
You can see in the animation how one valve opens while the other closes up.
This is not science fiction and we have samples working.

Apart from the obvious ecological advantages there are great creative opportunities if you are not limited by tooling and assembly…
